2024 Craftsman dyt 4000 blades won

My husband purchased an old Craftsman DYT 4000 from a guy he works with last summer. We replaced the carb and it ran good and cut great last summer. We used it for the first time this spring last week. Now the blades are turning but not really fast like normal. It isn’t cutting the grass, just pushing it over.The DYT 4000 features a pedal shifter hydrostatic transmission. The engine is a Briggs & Stratton 24 horsepower. The engine features an electronic ignition, two cast iron-lined cylinders and a lubrication system for full pressure. The tractor also has a gas tank of 3 gallons.
